Gunfire in Goris: One Wounded

Today, February 2, gunfire was heard in the Syunik region. According to Shamshyan.com, around 12:20 PM, the regional police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received operational information that gunfire was heard at the well-known intersection of the Heart Hospital in Goris.

Police officers and patrols found spent bullet casings, blood-like traces, and a BMW vehicle at the scene, which also had bullet marks. The police established that one individual with gunshot wounds was transported to the Goris Medical Center.

Citizens gathered at the scene, who refused to speak on camera, mentioned that among those involved was the driver of Surik Khachatryan, known as Liska, the former governor of Syunik. The police have approximately identified the wounded individual and the shooter.

It is noted that due to the interests of the investigation, some details are not being disclosed at this time. The police and the investigative department are working to ascertain the identities of the wounded individual and the BMW owner.
