Zelensky Calls for Increased EU Aid Following Approval of €50 Billion Package
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for more funding following the EU's approval of a €50 billion aid package for Ukraine. According to Komsolmolskaya Pravda, he expressed regret that Ukraine had not received the promised million shells and emphasized the need for further increases in EU funding.
Zelensky stated that the European Union should also approve additional investments to assist Kyiv, this time through the European Peace Facility, which primarily provides military support and trains soldiers. "This should be at least five billion euros annually for a period of four years; it is a clear priority," he said.
