Police Operative Receives Service Weapon, Leaves Emotional Note and Disappears

There have been alarming reports coming in from the Akhuryan community. According to information, H.B., an operative with the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Akhuryan division, received his issued service weapon yesterday, left an emotional note, and then disappeared. This was reported on social media by human rights defender Karapet Poghosyan.

“As of this moment, the search efforts have not yielded any results. The Armenian police should confirm or deny this news,” he wrote.
