Accident in Aragatsotn: Injuries Reported

Today, at 08:32, the crisis management center of the Aragatsotn regional rescue service received a call reporting an accident on the Ujan-Agarak highway, with a citizen trapped and in need of rescue assistance. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A fire-rescue team from the regional rescue service has been dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 11th kilometer of the Ashtarak-Ujan highway, a collision occurred between a "Mercedes-Benz" (driver H.K., born 1968) and a "VAZ" (driver Z.S., born 1960) vehicle.

Before rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of the "VAZ" vehicle and passenger K.S. (born 1960) were hospitalized at a medical center, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory. Rescuers disconnected the vehicles from the current and closed the gas cylinder valves.
