Why Conflicts Arise in the World: Lukashenko Comments

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that there is a transition towards a multipolar world order, but the current monopolist is trying to maintain a unipolar model using various methods, including armed conflicts.

“We (during negotiations with the President of the Russian Federation - ed.) analyzed the events happening in the world: the causes include both the Houthis and the Middle East, as well as the South China Sea with the Taiwan issue. All of this is due to the transition towards a multipolar world. As the Russian Foreign Minister said, the monopolist does not want this, so they are trying to maintain a unipolar world by using various methods. By applying different methods, they have resulted in armed conflicts,” Lukashenko said during a speech at the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State on Monday.

According to him, Belarus, Russia, and China, in particular, are striving for a multipolar model of the world. “At the forefront is Russia, which bears the burden the most and suffers more than anyone else,” emphasized the President of Belarus.
