VIDEO: In Yerevan, the Memorial to Blockaded Leningrad Children Defaced

Samuel Shirinyan, a self-proclaimed ‘fighter against flower wreaths,’ has torn the tricolor ribbons from the memorial and trampled them, while also knocking down flowers placed at the monument dedicated to the children of besieged Leningrad. He justified his actions with anti-Russian rhetoric. This was reported by Sputnik Armenia.

‘The so-called hero decided to respond to Maria Zakharova by demanding evidence of the Leningrad blockade,’ the publication noted.
