If Trump Achieves Peace in Ukraine Within 24 Hours, I Would Be Very Happy: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he would be very happy if Donald Trump becomes the President of the United States and achieves peace in Ukraine within a 24-hour period. He made this remark during an interview with the German ARD television channel, as reported by TASS.

Zelensky noted that the majority of both Republicans and Democrats in the U.S. support aid to Ukraine, making it unlikely that American policy will depend on one individual, while discussing the upcoming presidential elections in the United States. “If his formula leads to peace and it takes him 24 hours to accomplish that, then I would be a very happy president,” he said, commenting on Trump’s statements regarding his intentions to quickly resolve the conflict if he wins the elections.

According to the Ukrainian leader, if the U.S. under Trump weakens its support for Kyiv following his victory, the European Union may consolidate Germany regarding this issue.
