British Side Comments on Iran-affiliated Groups Attack on American Base

Iran needs to take steps to reduce tensions in the Middle East. This was stated by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak while commenting on the attack by Iran-affiliated groups on an American military base near the Jordan-Syria border.

“We are concerned about what has happened and call on Iran to continue reducing tensions in the region. We firmly support our allies in ensuring stability and peace in the region, and we will continue to work in that direction,” Sunak said during an interview with Sky News.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, three American servicemen were killed and at least 34 were injured in a drone attack on the U.S. military base in Jordan. President Joe Biden blamed groups associated with Iran for the attack. Iran's mission to the UN stated that Tehran has no connection to the incident.
