50 Administrative Proceedings Launched Against Entrepreneurs in Arabkir
Employees of the relevant service of the Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan are conducting active rounds and inspections to notify entrepreneurs about their obligation to carry out snow removal work in areas adjacent to their facilities and to monitor the implementation of these tasks. Gegham Karapetyan, the deputy head of the Arabkir administrative district, clarified in an interview with an Armenpress correspondent that based on the order of the Mayor of Yerevan, under the direct supervision of the district head and within the frameworks of the relevant decision of the Yerevan City Council, entrepreneurs were required to carry out snow removal work immediately after snowfall in the areas in front of their facilities.
“There are about 2,500 entrepreneurial subjects in the Arabkir administrative district, 2,300 of which have already been notified. About 150 notifications are currently in process, while administrative proceedings have already been launched against approximately 50 entrepreneurs. These are the entrepreneurial subjects who are avoiding their responsibilities,” Karapetyan noted, adding that relevant service employees continue their inspection rounds.
According to the deputy head of the administrative district, their employees have personally delivered notifications regarding obligations to each entrepreneurial subject, while those who are not present in the area are notified via Haypost. The media interlocutor mentioned that if obligations are not fulfilled after the notification, entrepreneurs will be held accountable according to the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses, with fines ranging from 15,000 to 20,000 drams.
