What Will Valentina Matviyenko Gift Vladimir Putin?

Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairwoman of the Federation Council, has announced that she will gift Russian President Vladimir Putin gloves due to the cold weather in St. Petersburg. According to Gazeta.ru, she made this statement to VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.

“I said, ‘Vladimir Vladimirovich, I will give you gloves because you are without gloves—it’s very cold outside,’” Matviyenko told Zarubin, emphasizing the need to take care of the president.

Prior to this, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov had stated during a recent press briefing that Putin would be meeting with participants of the special operation in St. Petersburg on January 26.
