Soldier Dies in Fire at Military Position Shelter

On February 6, around 13:20, a fire broke out in a makeshift structure adjacent to the shelter of a military position in N military unit under the Ministry of Defense. The fire resulted in the death of reserve soldier Arthur Varuzhani Grigoryan (born in 1985). This information was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

The fire has been extinguished and contained. There are no other casualties. An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

The Ministry of Defense extends condolences and support to the family members and relatives of the reserve soldier.
