Collision Occurs In Kotayk Region Involving Vehicle Serving Family of Ara Simmingyan

On January 26, a car accident took place in the Kotayk region. Around 18:40, vehicles identified as a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with license plate 110 HH 01 and a BYD collided near the well-known 'Gayi Post' on the Yerevan-Sevan highway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, preliminary reports indicate that fortunately there were no casualties resulting from the accident. Both drivers underwent sobriety tests at the scene and were found to be sober. However, they were seen blaming each other for the incident.

The Kotayk regional police are processing documents regarding the accident. According to Shamshyan, the license plates of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado are registered under the National Assembly of Armenia and are assigned to serve the family of the National Assembly's President Alan Simonyan.
