Emergency Vehicle Responding to Call Crashes Due to Black Ice
On January 24, due to black ice on the road, a chain collision occurred in the Lori Province. At around 8:00 PM, an ambulance from the Vanadzor Medical Center collided with a Nissan Altima, a Mercedes, and a VAZ-2107 at the initial section of Demirchyan Street in Vanadzor.
According to Shamshyan, fortunately, there were no injuries reported. However, the accident could have been avoided if the Lori Province administration and the Vanadzor municipality ensured that the organization responsible for road maintenance treated the black ice with salt and sand.
The police in the Lori Province are currently processing documents regarding the accident and are identifying the drivers involved. Sources indicate that the ambulance from the Vanadzor Medical Center was responding to a call.
