Historical New Record Set for Registered Jobs in Armenia: Pashinyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced a historical new record for registered jobs in Armenia.
“In December 2023, the number of jobs reached 741,726, which is an increase of 193,737 compared to May 2018, meaning that since May 2018, 193,737 jobs have been created in Armenia,” he stated.
According to the Prime Minister, the December 2023 figure is 37,306 higher than the December 2022 figure, representing a 5.3% increase.
The salary fund in December 2023 amounted to 264 billion 188 million drams, which exceeds that of 2018 by 167 billion 501 million drams, or 173%. Compared to the previous year, it has increased by 13.3% or 31 billion drams.
