A Loud Sound Similar to an Explosion Heard in Vanadzor: What Happened?

A loud sound resembling an explosion was heard in Vanadzor today. The Lori Regional Administration commented on the incident, revealing that an aviation training exercise took place.

“Dear residents of the Vanadzor community, approximately one hour ago, a sound resembling an explosion was heard in Vanadzor, causing concern among the public. We kindly ask and urge you not to panic, as this was due to an aviation training exercise,” stated the Lori Regional Administration on their Facebook page.

In response to media inquiries, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia confirmed that today, military aircraft of the RA Armed Forces conducted training flights in the Lori region. This was also published on the Ministry of Defense's Facebook page.
