The Houthi attacks in the Red Sea are backed by Iran and Hezbollah, reports Reuters, citing sources. According to the agency, Iran not only finances, equips, and trains the Houthis but also plays a direct role in planning attacks on vessels in the Red Sea, as well as providing the militants with intelligence information.
Official Iran has repeatedly denied its involvement in the Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.
