Belarus to Consider Military Attack on Allies as Assault on Its Territory
Belarus, in accordance with a new military doctrine, will regard any attack on its allies as an assault on its own territory. This was stated by Artem Butorin, head of the Belarusian Armed Forces' Main Staff Information and Analytical Directorate.
The new military doctrine will include provisions ratified by Belarus and its allies, as well as those enshrined in international agreements, in a separate chapter. The document will also outline Belarus's position on peacekeeping activities conducted under the auspices of international security organizations, including the UN and the CSTO.
