Death Toll from Ukrainian Strike at Donetsk Market Reaches 27
Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), has reported that the death toll from the strike by the Ukrainian armed forces on a market in Donetsk has reached 27. According to him, a total of 28 residents of the region have died as a result of shelling by Ukraine on January 21.
“As a result of artillery fire by the Ukrainian armed forces in the Tekstilshchik microdistrict of Donetsk, 27 civilian residents have been killed, and another 25 individuals have been injured to varying degrees, including two teenagers,” Pushilin wrote on his Telegram channel.
Preliminary data indicates that a combined strike from 152 mm and 155 mm artillery was launched from the directions of Kurakhove and Krasnohorivka, targeting the microdistrict where the market is located.
