Chief of General Staff Visits 2nd Army Corps to Discuss Recent Incidents

On January 9, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia, Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, visited the 2nd Army Corps and met with the command staff. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

During the visit, Lieutenant General Asryan participated in a summary of the results of the 2023 training year for the military unit. Addressing incidents that occurred within the subordinate divisions, Asryan ordered that all necessary actions be taken to conduct a thorough investigation, clarify the consequences, and prevent similar incidents in the future.

The Chief of the General Staff instructed to strictly adhere to regulatory relations during combat duty, maintain safety protocols, and consistently implement all measures aimed at enhancing discipline.
