VIDEO: Major Fire at Russian Oil Depot After Ukrainian Drone Attack
The Bryansk authorities have reported a fire at the oil depot in the city of Klintsy. The blaze occurred following an attack by a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
“The UAV was suppressed by the radio-electronic warfare systems of the Russian Ministry of Defense. During the destruction of the aerial target, ammunition was dropped on the oil depot,” said the regional head, Alexander Bogomaz.
Fuel tanks are ablaze in the collapsed area. Emergency responders from the regional main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Bryansk fire and rescue center are battling the blaze. Thirteen fire engines have been deployed.
According to preliminary information, there are no reported injuries.
