Pakistan Strikes Back Against Iran
The Pakistani military has launched retaliatory strikes in Iranian territory against "anti-Pakistani groups". This was reported by France Press, citing anonymous officials. "I can only confirm that we have targeted anti-Pakistani militant groups," the source stated.
Several militants were reported killed. The Iranian side has confirmed the deaths of three women and four children.
According to the Iranian IRNA agency, explosions were heard in several districts of the Saravan region in Sistan and Balochistan province, which borders Pakistan. The deputy governor of the region for security issues, Ali Reza Marhamati, stated that security forces have initiated an investigation.
It is reminded that on January 16, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps struck a base of the terrorist group Jaish al-Adl in Pakistan with missiles and drones, following which Pakistan recalled its ambassador from Tehran.
