VIDEO: The Russian Defense Ministry Neutralizes UAV in Leningrad Region for the First Time

The air defense systems have neutralized two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the territories of Moscow and Leningrad regions. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense on its Telegram channel.

"One UAV was destroyed in the territory of Moscow region, while another one was neutralized in the Leningrad region," the statement said. The Ministry of Defense indicated that this is the first instance of a UAV being downed in the skies over the Leningrad region since the beginning of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin had noted on his Telegram channel that air defense systems repelled an attack by a UAV over the Podolsk municipal district. According to him, there were no reported casualties or damage as a result of the incident.
