China has supplied 4.91 million vehicles to other countries in 2023, making it the largest exporter in the world for the first time. This information was provided by a representative of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China during a press conference dedicated to the year's results. "Car exports reached 4.91 million units, an increase of 57.9% compared to the previous year. China has taken the first place in the world for the first time," the official stated. He noted that vehicle production and sales in China grew by 11.6% and 12%, respectively, with both figures slightly surpassing 30 million units.
