Azerbaijani Forces Steal Sheep from Aravus Resident
This morning, Azerbaijani forces stole sheep from a resident of Aravus, located near the Armenia-Azerbaijan contact line in the Syunik region’s Tegh community. Davit Ghulunts, the head of Tegh community, told “Factinfo” that he cannot provide a precise number of sheep involved at this time.
“At this moment, I cannot give a specific number; it will be clear this evening when the sheep return from the pasture, and we will count how many remain to determine the exact figure,” he stated.
When asked whether the Azerbaijanis had crossed the border to enter their pastures or if the sheep had wandered off, he replied that the answer to this question would also only become clear in the evening.
He also mentioned that there had been no similar border incidents in the past year, and this time no shots had been fired.
It should be noted that about two hours ago, Facebook user Arthur Grigoryan alerted that “about half an hour ago, an incident occurred at the border of the Aravus village in the Tegh community. Azeri bandits have stolen around 200 sheep belonging to the village of Aravus. There was an order not to fire at the bandits.”
