Three Children and Two Adults Hospitalized Due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Three children and two adults were hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning at the Muratsan Hospital Complex’s Toxicology and Pediatric Resuscitation Clinic on the night of January 16 to 17. This was reported by Shushan Danielyan, the head of the Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU), on her Facebook page.

The hospitalized individuals include one child born in 2016 and two children born in 2020, as well as two women. University specialists evaluated the level of poisoning in the children. Both the children and their mothers received the necessary medical assistance.

As a result of the treatment, the patients have shown positive dynamics and are expected to be discharged from the university hospital soon.
