Snowstorm: Several Roads Closed

The emergency service has reported that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia. Due to road repair works until February 15, the section of the M-6 highway from Vanadzor to Alaverdi will be closed for buses and trucks with trailers or semi-trailers at approximately kilometers 38-40. A detour will operate through the city of Novemberyan.

The roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn region to Amberd Fortress and Kar was lake are closed. The Gorissis-Sisian road is closed for all types of vehicles.

The section of the road from the junction of Jermuk city to Saravan-"Zanger" is closed for trucks with trailers. The Tatev-Lzen-Sisian section is closed for trucks. Roads in the Syunik region are difficult to pass for trucks with trailers.

Blizzard conditions are reported at the Harjissi junction. According to information received from the Emergency Ministry of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia of the Russian Federation, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for trucks with trailers.
