Nothing Is Happening with the ‘Goy’ Theater as a Creative Unit, Says Minister

Today, in the National Assembly, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan addressed the merger of the ‘Goy’ Theater. According to her, a straightforward reorganization process is underway.

“Nothing is happening with the ‘Goy’ Theater as a creative unit. We are talking about the process of merging two state non-commercial organizations operating in one building. I would like to remind you that even the utility bills for the 'Goy' Theater were being paid by the Sundukyan Theater, and in that sense, there wasn't a fully independent and autonomous situation. At this moment, there will be a single unified state non-commercial organization under which the ‘Goy’ Theater will operate as a separate creative unit,” she stated.
