Iran Halts Attempted Infiltration of Terrorists, Casualty Reported
The Iranian Army's border services have thwarted an attempt by a group of terrorists to infiltrate the country. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to General Ahmad Ali Godarzi, the commander of the country's border guards, the terrorists planned a series of destabilizing actions in Iran.
“Armed clashes occurred, resulting in the death of one terrorist,” the commander stated.
