VIDEO: Russia Shoots Down Ukrainian Drones

Russian air defense (AD) systems repelled an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the night of January 16, shooting down three enemy drones over the Voronezh region. This has been reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The information was relayed by RIA Novosti.

Earlier, residents of the city reported hearing powerful explosions that shook the windows of residential buildings. In total, citizens counted about 5-9 explosions, with loud sounds accompanied by bright flashes of light.

The head of the region, Alexander Gusev, announced that air defense forces fended off the drone attack on the region. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties; however, a fire broke out in one of the multi-story buildings, and the windows of two others, as well as several private homes, were shattered.
