Body of Russian Citizen Found in Yerevan Hotel

A body of a Russian citizen has been discovered in one of the rooms of the "Kartez" hotel complex located in the Kentron administrative district of Yerevan, according to shamshyan.com.

Reports indicate that the police received a notification about the incident around 16:30 today. "Police and investigators found the body of a man, approximately 40 years old, in the bed of one of the rooms in the hotel complex. A criminal case has been initiated in the investigative department under the characteristics of homicide (sudden death)," the site reported.

Based on the investigator's decision, a forensic examination of the body has been ordered. According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic examiner, no signs of external violence were found on the body during the external inspection.

The identity of the deceased is currently being established.
