VIDEO. Camera Captures Moment of Landslide in Colombia; Casualties Reported

In the western Colombian department of Chocó, landslides have occurred, resulting in the deaths of 18 people and injuries to 35 others. This was reported by the Tiempo newspaper, citing local rescue services.
According to the publication, landslides took place on Friday along the road between the cities of Quibdó and Medellín. As per Tiempo, a house collapsed due to the landslide, where around 50 people were waiting for the road to reopen. All of them ended up trapped under the debris.
The newspaper notes that 25 injured individuals have been transferred to the hospital. Authorities in the Chocó department are conducting search and rescue operations at the disaster site.
