Video: Footage Released from the First Moments of the Wildberries Warehouse Fire in Russia
Footage from the first moments of the fire that broke out at the Wildberries warehouse in Shushary, a suburb of St. Petersburg (Pushkin district), Russia, is being published on Telegram channels. According to Baza, the fire started on the 7th floor of the clothing storage area.
The fire has been classified as a fifth-degree complexity. Preliminary reports indicate that the first alarm was sounded around 4:20 AM. Around 7:30 AM, employees began evacuating the building, with many jumping from the 2nd and 3rd floors directly onto the concrete below due to congestion at the emergency exits. One of the injured suffered serious burns to the leg and reported that there are still more victims.
Wildberries has confirmed the occurrence of a fire in its warehouse near Shushary, St. Petersburg, noting that people were evacuated. The company stated that sellers will be compensated for goods damaged in the fire, and customers will receive refunds for their lost orders.
