Vardan Ghukasyan on His Removal from the 'Public Voice' Party

Vardan Ghukasyan, the founder and council member of the 'Public Voice' party, announced during a live broadcast that if he is not in the party, the party will cease to exist.

It should be noted that earlier today, the management council of the 'Public Voice' party issued a statement claiming that Vardan Ghukasyan holds Russian citizenship, and based on this, his membership in the party has been terminated.

According to Ghukasyan, this issue has been raised by the authorities, who want to 'explode' the party. 'Artak Galstyan is currently in a penal institution where it is forbidden to possess a phone. Yet, we see that Artak Galstyan is posting very operational materials, they are removing Vardan Ghukasyan, and doing who knows what. Vardan Ghukasyan has held Russian citizenship for a long time; I am a dual citizen, and the founding basis of the party was Vardan Ghukasyan. If Vardan Ghukasyan is not present, there will be no 'Public Voice',' he stated.

Ghukasyan emphasized that his powers cannot be terminated according to the party's charter. 'The party has a central body consisting of 29 members, and at least 17 members must gather to make any decision to terminate someone's powers. Ask Artak Galstyan where he has gathered 17 people; in prison? Show me the signatures of those 17 people,' he remarked.

According to Ghukasyan, a significant portion of the party has approached him and requested to convene a congress to decide whether to continue with Artak Galstyan or Vardan Ghukasyan. He stated that by January 19, it will be clear whether the party members are with him or with Artak Galstyan.
