Anti-Corruption Committee Announces Arrest of Official from Armavir Penitentiary

An official from the Armavir penitentiary facility has been arrested in connection with a corruption case currently under investigation. This information was provided to Auroranews by the press service of the Anti-Corruption Committee.

The criminal proceedings were initiated due to acts of corruption, which led to the arrest of the official from the Armavir penitentiary. "We cannot provide more details at this point in order to protect the interests of the investigation," representatives from the Anti-Corruption Committee stated.

It should be noted that there are reports circulating in the media suggesting that the head of the Armavir penitentiary's Correctional Medical Center has been arrested.
