Road Conditions in Armenia
The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.
The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to Amberd Fortress and K'ari Lake are closed.
The Vardenyats pass is difficult to navigate for trucks with trailers (it is recommended to use snow chains).
There are patches of black ice on the Gndevaz-Jermuk road in the Syunik region.
Fog conditions have been reported in the areas known as "Meghru Hill," as well as in the towns of Talin, Jermuk, and Goris.
Until February 15, due to road repair works, the section of the M-6 highway near the 38-40th kilometer between Vanadzor and Alaverdi will be closed for buses and trucks with trailers or semi-trailers. An alternative route will be operational through the town of Noyemberyan.
Regarding Lars: According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation's North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
