Video: The Bridge Collapses, Vehicles Unable to Pass for Second Day in Russia

A bridge in the Irkutsk region collapsed when a truck loaded with timber passed over it. The truck became stuck at the edge of the crossing, causing a long line of vehicles to be unable to proceed for a second consecutive day.
Fortunately, the incident occurred during the winter months when the river was frozen. The consequences could have been much more severe had the ice not supported the timber. However, this event has led to a significant traffic jam of similar trucks, which are now unable to reach Ust-Ilimsk, leaving drivers uncertain about when they will be able to move again.
“We don’t know how long we will be stuck here,” shared one of the drivers trapped in the long queue since January 8.
