Video: Should Suren Papikyan Resign After the Deaths of Two Soldiers? A Question to Kocharyan
In the National Assembly courtyard, journalists posed a question to the head of the Permanent Commission on Defense and Security, Andranik Kocharyan, regarding whether Defense Minister Suren Papikyan should resign following the recent deaths of two soldiers.
In response, Kocharyan stated that he should not.
“After the completion of the preliminary investigation, it will become clear who is responsible for what happened. We first need to understand why there was a suicide, if it was indeed a suicide, and why there was a murder, if it was a murder. This must be investigated, and after the investigation, the circle of those guilty will become clear. You all want sensational resignations immediately,” he said.
