VIDEO: Minasian on Efforts Regarding Prisoners Held in Baku

In December, we received exciting news: more than thirty of our prisoners were returned to Armenia, and Armenia handed over two Azerbaijanis to the Azerbaijani side. This was stated by Justice Minister Grigor Minasian during a press conference summarizing the results of 2023.

Minasian was asked about the legal component of the work being done regarding the prisoners held in Baku, particularly high-ranking political and military officials.

“Mainly, this is diplomatic work that will be carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that is, through presenting detailed information via our ambassadors and also in international platforms about what has happened and who these people are,” Minasian noted.

According to him, the government’s representative for international legal issues is conducting intensive work in numerous international venues.
