No Need to Talk About It, the Army is a Sector Where the More Closed and Secret, the Better: MP
Today, there are significant reforms in the army that are not visible and should not be visible. This was stated today during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly by MP Armen Khachatryan from the ruling Civil Contract faction.
“For the public, a number of crucial reforms and achievements are not visible and will not be visible in the near future, but believe me, they are progressing very actively; these are unprecedented reforms. There have never been such changes in our army. Even compared to decades, we cannot compare what has occurred in the past 1-1.5 years,” he said. “No need to talk about it; the army is that sector where the more closed and secretive, the better,” he added.
The MP noted that the army currently needs quality officers with basic education. “Today, our military university is preparing quite high-quality officers, but this requires at least 4 years. When that generation enters the army, the situation will change quite significantly,” he said.
