Ukraine Ranks Third in 2024 Global Risks List by The Time

Ukraine has secured the third position in The Time magazine's list of global risks for 2024. The top two spots are occupied by the U.S. elections and the Middle East.

According to The Time, Ukraine will remain de facto divided this year, while Russia is expected to maintain an initiative on the battlefield along with a material advantage.

Should Ukraine fail to promptly address its staffing issues, increase arms production, and develop a realistic military strategy, its territorial losses may become permanent and potentially even more extensive.

The Time emphasizes that “Kyiv will face greater military risks this year, including strikes on more targets within Russia, which could provoke an unprecedented response from Russia and might even draw NATO into the conflict.”
