Our Allies Do Not Ask Us to Halt the War, Says Ukrainian Foreign Minister

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has stated that Western allies are not asking Ukraine to negotiate with Russia to freeze the military conflict. This was reported by El Pais.

According to him, Russia is not interested in peace.

“Our allies do not ask us to negotiate with Russia on the cessation of war, neither in the format of meetings with delegations nor in isolated closed negotiations,” the minister said.

The diplomat emphasized that Ukraine should be a subject of solidarity and unity for Europe, rather than division.

He asserted that the Russian authorities do not want “neither a frozen conflict nor peace.”
