Any Act of Terrorism is Unacceptable for Armenia: Vahan Kostanyan
The authorities of the Republic of Armenia, including the President, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, have conveyed their condolences regarding the recent terrorist attack in Kerman to their counterparts. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Vahan Kostanyan.
“Once again, I want to reiterate that any act of terrorism that results in the death and injury of innocent people is unacceptable for the Republic of Armenia. Such incidents demonstrate that the fight against terrorism must never cease, and states must continue to combat it with a united front because it is a universal evil,” he said.
The Embassy of Iran in Armenia had previously announced that a mourning book would be opened at their embassy on January 5 in connection with the terrorist attack that claimed the lives of more than 100 people in Iran.
The terrorist attack occurred on January 3 near a cemetery in Kerman during an event commemorating the fourth anniversary of the assassination of Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the special forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
