More Dismissals to Come Soon: Who is the Next Target?

According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," there is real chaos in the Armenian government. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's decisions have left ministers and governors confused.

"The year 2024 has begun with a true parade of dismissals in the government. Pashinyan has fired the Minister of High-Tech Industry, the governors of Lori and Ararat, and the chairman of the Urban Development Committee one after another. These spontaneous decisions by Nikol Pashinyan have taken the ruling party members by surprise, as despite his periodic dissatisfaction with various governors and ministers, no one in the ruling party believed that Pashinyan would take such drastic steps, not even sparing his close allies," the publication states.

According to the newspaper's sources, these purges that Pashinyan has started in local self-governments and the governmental cabinet will continue. There will be more dismissals in the near future, and that is why everyone is now holding their breath, waiting to see who his next target will be.

"As our sources report, Pashinyan's decisions have been made so hastily that even the officials within the government have not had time to discuss candidates to replace those who were dismissed and are now in search of replacements," the newspaper writes.
