I Have Practiced Tennis There for Many Years: Avinyan on the 4th Section of the Circular Park

The 4th section of the Circular Park is set to be renovated. Yerevan's Mayor Tigran Avinyan made this statement during a regulatory session of the municipal government.

According to Avinyan, this area has been developed in a mixed manner, and the proposal suggests restoring the park. “I have practiced tennis there for many years; it perhaps wasn't strange to me at the time, but now, looking at it, there shouldn't have been tennis courts based on the logic of the Circular Park, and the space should have been a park. Therefore, in the sections where there are public green areas, we should return them to the city and the residents of Yerevan,” he stated, instructing to expedite the preparation of the government decision draft.
