Old Advertising Standards Will Not Be Kept: Clarifications from the City Hall

Auroranews has been receiving calls from business operators indicating that they have removed their advertising panels in compliance with the law, but there are some who have not removed them and do not even plan to do so.

Auroranews reached out to the City Hall regarding the advertising panels in Yerevan. The City Hall has communicated that a uniform approach will be applied for everyone. Some operators have not yet been able to dismantle the advertisements but are obligated to do so. “As for those who have not dismantled and do not plan to, the community intends to dismantle them using its own resources, applying administrative responsibility mechanisms,” officials from the City Hall stated.

The City Hall has also considered that operators might not have been able to carry out the dismantling work due to the New Year holidays.

The approach is as follows: “No advertising will remain that is based on old standards,” the City Hall stated.
