Armenian Passport Ranks Fourth in the World

The Global Passport Index has released its ranking of the world's most attractive and competitive passports for 2024. The passport of the United Arab Emirates takes the top position.

Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and the Netherlands share the second spot, while Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Austria, and Switzerland hold the third position.

In our region, Georgia leads the way at 34th place (out of 96), while Armenia and Azerbaijan share the 61st position.

It is noteworthy that with an Armenian passport, one can travel to 37 countries without a visa, to 46 countries with an on-arrival visa, and to 115 countries with a pre-obtained visa. Last year, the Armenian passport was ranked 62nd, showing improvement in its position.
