Wind Intensification, Fog, Precipitation: Weather in Armenia

Today, during the day, on January 7-8, and in the night of the 9th, dry weather is expected across the country. This is reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

On January 9th during the day, isolated areas will experience precipitation and fog, while on the 10th, significant portions of the regions will see similar weather. In mountainous areas, precipitation will fall as snow, and in the valleys and foothill areas, it will be in the form of rain and mixed rain-snow.

The wind will blow from the southwest at 2-5 m/s, with intensified winds expected on January 6th and 8th at 14-17 m/s, and on the 9th gusts reaching 20-25 m/s.

On the night of January 7th, the temperature is expected to drop by 4-6 degrees Celsius, and on the night of the 8th-10th, it will gradually rise by the same amount.

In Yerevan today, during the day, on the 7th-8th, and in the night of the 9th, dry weather is anticipated. Precipitation and fog are expected during the day on the 9th and on the 10th.
