Immediate Action Needed, Borrell States

The international community must take effective action to cease military operations in the Gaza Strip and prevent further suffering of the Palestinians living in the area. Today, the diplomat held a press conference in the capital of Lebanon. Responding to questions from journalists, he also commented on the situation in the Middle Eastern conflict zone.

“Immediate action is required to establish a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip,” emphasized the Brussels representative.

Previously, American CNN reported on Borrell's arrival in Lebanon. According to journalists, during his visit, the European diplomat intends to discuss the tense situation at the border with Israel with local authorities.
