Currently, there are 23 hostages confirmed by Azerbaijan, 17 of whom were captured as a result of the aggression in 2023. This information was provided to "Lurer" by the head of the RA Investigative Committee, Argishti Kyaramyan.
"We have factual data regarding the enforced disappearance of 32 individuals following the 44-day war, which have been submitted to higher state bodies," he elaborated.
According to Kyaramyan, there are also decisions to apply interim measures from the European Court of Human Rights for 22 individuals, but Azerbaijan denies the fact of their enforced disappearance.
