From February 1, Armenian citizens will be able to travel to the UAE without visa fees, says Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The agreement on the mutual abolition of the visa requirement for citizens of the Republic of Armenia and the United Arab Emirates will come into effect on February 1, 2024. This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

"Therefore, starting from February 1, 2024, Armenian citizens can enter, exit, and transit through the UAE territory without a visa and payment. The passport of the Armenian citizen must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in the UAE. Armenian citizens will be allowed to stay in the territory of the United Arab Emirates for a maximum of 90 days within each 180-day period," states the announcement.

Note: The passport validity pertains to the validity dates indicated on pages 2 (in Armenian) and 3 (in English) of the passport, not the note regarding validity in foreign countries shown on page 4 (circular stamp), which will no longer be used and is not mandatory starting from January 1, 2024 (details at the following link: www.mfa.am/hy/2024).
